Terms & Conditions

1. Who we are

Women's Work ("we", "us", "our") operates womenswork.co, a shop and editorial platform for women-founded brands. Women's Work is a trading name of Intelligent Impact Group Ltd, registered in England and Wales, company number 16208043, registered office 1 Beech Road, Alderley Edge, England, SK9 7LX. Contact: lucycball@gmail.com.

By using this site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

2. What the platform is

Women's Work has two ways of connecting you with women-founded brands:

Featured brands (affiliate links). Some brands on this site are featured editorially, with links that take you to the brand's own website. When you buy there, your contract is with that brand, on their terms, prices and policies. We have no control over, and accept no responsibility for, third-party websites. We may earn a commission on these purchases at no extra cost to you; this is always disclosed.

Marketplace purchases. When the Women's Work marketplace is open, some products are sold through our own checkout. Each product listing names the vendor who makes and fulfils it. Women's Work operates the marketplace and processes payment; the vendor is responsible for making, packing and dispatching what you order. Your statutory rights sit with the sale and are unaffected by this arrangement.

3. Orders and payment

Prices are in pounds sterling and include VAT where applicable. Payment is taken at checkout through our payment providers. An order is accepted when we send an order confirmation. We may cancel and refund any order where a listing contained an obvious error, stock is unavailable, or we suspect fraud.

4. Delivery

Marketplace orders are dispatched by the vendor named on the listing. Estimated dispatch and delivery times are shown on each listing. If an item does not arrive within the time promised, contact us and we will resolve it with the vendor; the legal responsibility for delivery of a marketplace order rests with the seller of the goods.

5. Cancellations, returns and refunds

If you are a UK consumer, you have the right under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 to cancel a marketplace order within 14 days of receiving it, without giving a reason, and a further 14 days to return the goods. Refunds are made to the original payment method within 14 days of the return arriving or evidence of return being provided.

This right does not apply to: perishable goods; personalised or made-to-order items; sealed hygiene or cosmetic products once unsealed; and other exemptions set out in the Regulations. Any exception is stated on the product listing before you buy.

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, goods must be as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for purpose. If something arrives faulty or not as described, contact us and we will put it right with a repair, replacement or refund as the law provides.

Purchases made on a brand's own website through our featured links are governed by that brand's returns policy, and your statutory rights against that brand.

6. Selling on Women's Work (vendors)

The marketplace is application-only and curated. Joining is free for applications received before 1 September 2026; from that date a one-off joining fee of £99 applies. There is no monthly subscription to sell. Women's Work takes a 20% commission on marketplace sales; the remainder is paid to the vendor. Vendors must be women-founded businesses, meet our photography and presentation standards, honour their listings and dispatch times, and comply with all law applicable to their products. Full vendor terms are provided during onboarding and form a separate agreement.

7. The advocate programme

Advocates are individuals approved by us who share Women's Work products through a personal page and link. Advocates earn 10% of the total basket value of qualifying purchases made through their link, paid from Women's Work's own commission, never from the vendor's share. Attribution runs on the shopper's session and our tracking rules, which we may update. Advocates are independent; they are not employees, agents or franchisees of Women's Work, there is no fee to join, no requirement to buy anything, and no earnings from recruiting others. Advocates must disclose their relationship with Women's Work when sharing links, in line with UK advertising rules. We may withhold commission earned through self-purchase abuse, fraud or misleading promotion, and may close accounts that breach these terms. Payment schedules and thresholds are set out in the advocate dashboard.

8. Women's Work PRO

PRO is an optional membership at £19 per month providing access to a resource library, tools and community. It renews monthly until cancelled and can be cancelled at any time, taking effect at the end of the current billing period. As PRO gives immediate access to digital content, you agree that supply begins at purchase; refunds for a part-used month are not given except where the law requires. PRO content is licensed for your own business use and may not be resold, redistributed or shared outside your business.

9. Accounts and acceptable use

Keep your account details accurate and your password secure. You must not misuse the site: no unlawful, infringing or deceptive activity, no scraping at scale, no interfering with the site's operation, and no posting of content that is defamatory, obscene or infringes anyone's rights. Reviews and comments must be honest and your own. We may remove content and suspend accounts that breach these terms.

10. Intellectual property

The Women's Work name, site design, editorial content and photography commissioned by us belong to us or our licensors. Brand names, logos and photography of featured brands belong to those brands and are used with permission or under our publisher relationships; they may not be reused without the owner's consent. You may share links to our content; you may not republish it commercially without our written permission.

11. Our liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for any liability that cannot lawfully be limited. Subject to that: we are not liable for losses arising from your use of third-party websites reached through our links; for a marketplace order, our liability and the vendor's liability to you is limited to the price paid for that order plus refundable delivery costs; and we are not liable for business losses where you use the site as a consumer. Your statutory rights are unaffected.

12. Complaints and disputes

If something goes wrong, email lucycball@gmail.com and we will do our best to sort it quickly and fairly. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction (if you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland you may also bring proceedings there).

13. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows the current version; material changes affecting active subscriptions or programmes will be notified by email before they take effect.
